The Vision of Concord Village

Concord Village was created by HUD in the sixties to provide low cost housing to Tempe and the surrounding community. Take back your life and start living it today! Affordable housing just makes sense (and cents)! Below is a photo of some of the single level one & two bedrooms.

In Concord Village there are two, three & four bedroom two story units as well (below).

We are a great place to live and raise a family. We are a great place to work and go to school. We are a great place to retire. Concord Village is a community that supports all walks of life and every age group. We are in the Scottsdale School District near Yavapai Elementary, Supai Middle School & Coronado High School.

At the Concord Village Community Garden, we had plenty of fresh organic tomatoes during the 2008 tomato recall! Other things we have grown are; loofah gourds, radishes, carrots, spinach, tomatillos, mild & hot peppers of all kinds, beans, peas, all kinds of herbs, corn, onions, grapes, squash & watermelons, we even have a beautiful apricot tree! The garden is open to all members free of charge.

We recycle! We are one of very few multi-family housing complexes that has gotten approval from the City of Tempe to recycle. Due to logistical issues it can sometimes be very difficult to do. Our community opened a dialogue with the City and found a way to make it work in our neighborhood & help conserve resources by starting a recycling program in 2008!
