About Concord Ecovillage ...
 We are developing a cohousing community that will be located within walking distance of a small town. Join a wonderful group of people who are working together to fulfill our dreams. We intend for this neighborhood to foster a vibrant sense of community, affordable living, decreased automobile dependence, and harmonious sharing of resources--along with ample opportunities for privacy. We are seeking land within a 20 mile radius of the intersection of Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania: the beautiful Brandywine River Valley and environs.
What does Concord Ecovillage plan to offer?
* Up to 40 individually-owned, complete units with 1, 2, 3, or 4 bedrooms
* Energy efficient, environmentally-sensitive buildings, and site design that preserves the land's natural beauty
* An intergenerational, friendly atmosphere that is safe for children and conducive to visiting with neighbors
* A large community building, called a common house, for optional shared meals and other activities
* A pedestrian village that is clustered around walkways and the common house, with cars parked on the periphery of the site for safety and to maintain open spaces for nature and recreation
